Bridging Program

Intervention 

To address learning loss and social emotional trauma, the Spreckels Union School District implemented a three-phase Bridging Program when students returned to in-person instruction after Covid-19 pandemic.

The Bridging Program includes one-on-one or small group tutoting, an extended school year, and pull-out intervention support for identified stduents to mitigate learning loss. The Briding Program also includes increased social-emoptional support for struggling students. Importantly, SUSD has hired a full-time counselor for each school site to work with students and staff.
